Privacy
Evermeadow is a private companion for your pet's life. Your data exists to serve you, not us.
The short version
PetHQ is private. We can't read it. You can export or delete it any time.
- •Sign-in is by magic link — we never see a password.
- •Pet photos are stored privately and served via short-lived links (1 hour).
- •No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no data sales — ever.
- •Export and delete PetHQ from Settings (coming with the next release).
What we collect
- Account email (for sign-in via magic link)
- Pet profiles, memories, journal entries, and photos you create
- Quality-of-life check-in data
- Newsletter email if you subscribe (double opt-in)
- Contact form messages
- Anonymous bell rings and candle lightings (no account required)
What we don't collect
- Payment information (Evermeadow is free)
- Browsing history or cross-site tracking
- Location data
- Data from other apps on your device
How your data is stored
All personal data is stored securely with row-level security policies that ensure only you can access your own data. Pet photos are stored in a private bucket and served via short-lived signed URLs (1-hour expiry). Your data is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Public features
Bell rings (pet name only), candle lightings (pet name and optional message), and public memorials (if you opt in) are visible to other visitors. Everything else is private by default.
Deletion
You can delete your pet profiles and associated data at any time. If you delete your account, all personal data — profiles, memories, journal entries, photos — is permanently removed.
